Still University of Health Sciences and her master’s degree in audiology from The University of Texas at Austin. Amanda is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in Audiology and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Zappler is very passionate about communication and human connection. She believes in patient-centered care. Her interest in audiology started when she became a parent to a child with hearing loss many years ago. This personal experience inspired her to help others with hearing loss, too. She feels privileged to support patients during their hearing journey.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys time with her family, which includes her husband, two adult children, four busy grandchildren and a dog. Amanda is also an artist, and her work can be found in and around the Austin area hanging on café, library and gallery walls.
