Tracy Armstrong, M.A., CCC-A
Director of Audiology
Tracy Armstrong earned her master’s in audiology from the University of Texas in 1992. With over 30 years of experience, she provides a wide range of audiology services, including aural rehabilitation, amplification services, diagnostic testing, vestibular evaluation, tinnitus management, cochlear implants and bone-anchored auditory prosthetic devices. Tracy holds certifications from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Texas Academy of Audiology.
As the director of Austin Auditory Specialists, Tracy ensures that the practice upholds best practices and delivers exceptional patient care.
Building personal connections with patients to understand their unique communication needs and challenges is important to Tracy. She believes that the best outcomes happen through a holistic approach involving high-quality hearing devices, personalized programming, ongoing adjustments, supportive counseling, humor and, above all, active listening.
In her free time, Tracy enjoys volunteering, cooking, gardening, sharing moments with friends and family and braving hot Texas summers with a smile.
Chelsea Aji, Au.D., CCC-A
Audiologist
Dr. Chelsea Aji received her doctorate in audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018 and has extensive expertise in evaluating and treating children and adults with hearing loss. Committed to delivering exceptional patient care, she provides personalized hearing solutions to enhance patients’ quality of life.
Driven by a passion for patient well-being and a belief in the transformative power of communication, Dr. Aji discovered her calling in audiology at a young age. Inspired by her family’s hearing challenges, she dedicated herself to understanding the mechanics of hearing and empowering others to overcome similar obstacles.
Dr. Aji considers it a privilege to support each patient on their hearing journey, improving their connection to the world and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Dr. Aji enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, swimming and spending time with her dog, Pita.
Danielle Jorgenson, Au.D., CCC-A
Audiologist
Danielle Jorgenson received her doctorate in audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2021 and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She joined Austin Auditory Specialists in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a commitment to personalized hearing care.
Understanding the impact hearing loss can have on individuals and their families, Dr. Jorgenson is committed to providing customized hearing care that improves quality of life. She values building relationships with her patients to gain insight into their communication needs and challenges. Dr. Jorgenson believes that patient education—combined with appropriate technology and motivation—is crucial for achieving successful outcomes. Supporting patients on their journey to better hearing is her passion and her privilege.
When not at work, Dr. Jorgenson enjoys spending time with her dog, hiking and exploring the local live music scene.
Laura Zamora
Audiology Coordinator
Laura De La Cruz is the audiology coordinator for Austin Auditory Specialists, where she assists with administrative needs and minor hearing aid repairs.
Laura graduated from the University of Houston in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She was inspired to pursue a degree in communication disorders because of a relative who has special needs.
Laura recently relocated to Austin from Houston. In her free time, she likes to bowl with her husband and son, in addition to staying at home and spending time with her cat.
Robert Nason, M.D.
Consulting Physician
Dr. Robert Nason serves the families of Austin and Cedar Park, Texas at ENT Specialists of Austin. Dr. Nason is an ENT doctor with board certifications in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery and fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology.
Dr. Nason graduated magna cum laude from Rice University before earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. There, he won the Edward Randall Medal for Academic Excellence and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Lindsay Young, M.D.
Consulting Physician
Dr. Lindsay E. Young is an otolaryngologist and board-certified head and neck surgeon at ENT Specialists of Austin. She is trained to treat both pediatric and adult patients and serves the local communities of Austin and Cedar Park, Texas.
Dr. Young grew up in San Antonio and attended college at Southern Methodist University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in anthropology and minors in music and pre-medical studies. She went on to medical school at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha — the only nationally recognized honor society for medical students — and graduated in the top of her class.
Kelsey Mothersole, M.D.
Consulting Physician
Dr. Mothersole is an ENT doctor who serves adult and pediatric patients in Austin and Cedar Park, Texas. She is board-certified in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Mothersole graduated cum laude from Rice University in 2012 with a B.S. in bioengineering. She then earned her M.D. with Honor at Baylor College of Medicine in 2016, where she received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery.
